Why this matters

school-age children worldwide are not in school today.
Grace was 11 when her school closed.
The nearest classroom was a three-hour walk away, so she stayed home to help on the farm. In 2022, we rebuilt her village school with her parents and neighbors. Grace went back. This year she’s in secondary school — and wants to be a nurse.
